Clayloft Studio Unique Handmade Art Tile

Handmade Tile Tile is the most permanent design element in a home or building. Custom tile is durable and beautiful. It creates an original and dramatic touch in any environment. Our tiles are entirely hand crafted. They are not formed in a mold, rather each tile is cut individually from a hand rolled slab of clay. The designs are then drawn or pressed into the clay while the clay is soft and glazed after the first firing. Glaze options are limitless and after it is applied the tile is fired once more. Shown are but a few of the unlimited possibilities. If you are interested in having custom tile created to your taste and needs, I will be happy to consult with you and create sample tiles. Contemporary and modern designs are also available - the work in this series is pastel in nature and the photographs do not do them justice. Limited Edition Press Tile
	I have made some plaster press molds for some of my designs - so they can be duplicated - but they are still in small batches "limited editions" as the molds wear out after using them 10 - 20 times depending on how much detail there is in the design - they are still of course handmade. Once a run is done - the mold is broken.
